THE TENDER NOW a love letter to the beauty hiding in plain sight

Updated: Apr 14

There was a time I sought beauty like a treasure—

a destination,

a perfection,

something waiting for me

once I had done enough,

healed enough,

become enough.

But something shifted.

A hush settled into my spirit.

And in that silence,

the world began to speak.

I stopped chasing beauty—

and it began to reveal itself.

Not in loud declarations,

but in the gentle hush

of lavender swaying beneath the sun.

The universe whispered,

"Slow down. Look here."

And I did.

With open hands

and softened breath,

I began to see.

It was in the curve of a petal,

the weight of silence in the morning light,

the quiet way life offers herself

to those who no longer demand to be dazzled.

I used to seek the spectacular.

Now I see the sacred—

in the soft,

the small,

the so easily missed.

I used to crave perfection.

Now I crave presence.

To witness beauty—not as I want it to be,

but as it already is.

A cracked vase.

A fallen petal.

A bloom with no name—

all holy.

All enough.

This is luxury.

To be held in awe

by the wild and the overlooked.

To taste the divine

in what the world rushes past.

To remember

that Heaven on Earth

is not a destination—

but a soft gaze,

a deep breath,

a shift in perception.

To feel the extraordinary

woven into the ordinary.

To recognize magic

in the moment that once felt unmagical.

Heaven on Earth is here.

Not in faraway dreams,

but in the tender now.

In the breath between thoughts.

In the beauty

that was always waiting

for me to arrive—

without expectation.

Thank you, universe—

for the unseen symphony,

for the flowers no one planted for me,

for the wild offerings left in my path.

For every quiet nudge,

for every whisper that said,

"You are already surrounded by wonder."

I see it now.

And I bow.

Let This Be Your Invitation

Take a walk.

Gaze out your window.

Hold the cracked, the fallen, the wild with wonder.

You don’t have to search for magic.

It’s already here.

In the tender now.
